Wungura is a traditional word from the Dhauwurd Wurrung language group of the Gunditjmara People of south-west Victoria.

Wungura meaning: "Quick/Fast"

In this ever-changing world Wungura clothing was established
and launched in 2021, with our ultimate vision to inspire and encourage all
peoples of all backgrounds to coexist together and lead the way to a better
future!

With the perfect humbling values, we have as a brand, when
we started out our brand couldn’t have started more authentic if we wanted it
to.

Learning the ways to run a clothing brand itself, while
basing it from our culture that strives from a past and present timeline of stories
of our community and self-determination.

We have loved every step of the journey, as we continue to
grow and evolve this “side hobby” into a reality.

With the ultimate goal to join the ranks of bigger clothing
lines the efforts come down to every person that supports us emotionally and
physically. With no plans to winding down we can’t wait for what we have in
store for the future!
